2nd SUNDAY OF ADVENT
THE ADVENT WREATH
Celebrant: Father in heaven, this Advent Wreath reminds us of your eternal promise to send a Redeemer, One who would reveal your fatherly love for us; One who died for us, One who rose from the dead for us, and who will come in glory to lead us to You. Make us worthy of your promise. We make our prayer through Christ Our Lord.
All: Amen
The second Advent Candle is lit.
All. Your friends are waiting for you Lord
Your friends are waiting here,
We wait with quiet hearts and minds
With love and not with fear.
Celebrant: Lord, may our Christian lives shine like this candle, helping others to find the pathway to you. Amen.

CHRISTMAS TAIZE PRAYER GATHERING Sun 11th Dec Forster Uniting Church. This shared Christian prayer movement has its origins in Taize, France. Its style of prayer is often a simple form chanting/singing of traditional Latin language prayer. This more quiet, meditative style of praise to God is a good way for us to prepare for the Christmas Feast together. Do come!
